Do Undocumented Immigrants have Constitutional Rights?
Yes, they do. Undocumented immigrants have the right to due process, the right to be with family, the right against unreasonable searches and seizures, and the right to an education.
So why are the above rights denied?
Under the Trump administration, we have clearly and swiftly become victims of a government run by state apparatus and corporations whose only goal is to enrich themselves at our expense.
Corporate America does not need our labor force now. We are seeing our increasingly repressive government target the most vulnerable – the undocumented workers who have historically contributed to the building of this country.
The people behind this repression have Trump as their spokesperson, a rich man whose only goal is to enrich himself.
So… What are we going to do?Â
We have two options. We can stand by and allow this repressive government to do as it pleases, or we can organize ourselves and demand respect for our constitutional rights and take back what is ours.
A growing section of the people of this country are taking up the fight for a better future. On June 14, 2025, people throughout this country took to the streets to protest. Here in El Valle of Texas people came out by the thousands and showed our outrage with the Trump administration.
The Rio Grande Valley in Texas is strong. Let’s join together and demand our constitutional rights for everyone. We are a nation of immigrants. Regardless of our immigration status, we are human beings and have sacrificed our lives to build this country and are continuing to do so.
We must never allow a takeover by a Nazi-type government.
