The following video showcases the experiences migrants face at the open-air corridor between San Ysidro and Tijuana in early May 2023. Nanzi Muro and Francisco Mendoza of the People’s Tribune and el Tribuno del Pueblo captured the living conditions migrants are facing with Biden’s new asylum ban. Despite the corridor being part of U.S. jurisdiction, border patrol has not provided adequate resources and living conditions for migrants which has resulted in a great need for community members and organizations to step up for migrants.
