We are excited to partner with Little Amal on her Walk Across America! Little Amal is a 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl who has traveled across 13 countries
meeting more than a million people, and watched by tens of millions more online. Little Amal will journey 6,000 miles across the US, beginning in Boston on September 7th and culminating in San Diego on November 5th. Amal’s journey celebrates the rich stories of refugees, immigrants, and displaced people, and the communities that welcome them.
Join other followers of Witness at the Border in Boston, Philadelphia, Marfa, El Paso, Los Angeles, and more! Make signs that say “Witness at the Border Welcomes Little Amal” or just #WalkWithAmal. Take pictures and post them on social media!
