Interview with UC Merced Student: Palestine Solidarity

Eight months have passed, and the genocide in Gaza continues with no near end to it. Columbia University students started an encampment that quickly created a domino effect worldwide, with universities from all over protesting their governments having ties to Israel, demanding their schools to cut any relationships as well as being the voice for the 38,664 Palestinians dead, 1/3 of them being children.

Our board member Gloria Sandoval interviewed a UC Merced student taking part in the encampment, Ari, who gave us an overall idea of why students are participating in the protest and its importance. We admire these young students and their bravery against war and how universities in the United States are taking part in funding this ongoing genocide.

STAY INFORMED & TAKE ACTION

As capitalism fails, the only strategy the ruling class has is to turn us against each other by scapegoating narratives and pushing divisive politics. This is why we are a national source of information connected to a network of movement newspapers and publications. We represent the voices of those fighting for human rights and a world for people, not profits.
